PARCO DEL GRASSANO:
The Grassano Park is a naturalistic pearl set in the suggestive Telesina valley. Among Roman vestiges, medieval castles and characteristic villages, it reveals an oasis that gives children and adults the opportunity to get closer to the magic of nature.
PARCO REGIONALE TABURNO CAMPOSAURO:
Taburno Camposauro is an isolated limestone massif of the Campania Apennines. It is located exactly west of Benevento from which it is a few kilometers away and in whose province it falls entirely. To the north the massif is separated from the Matese mountains by the Telesina Valley crossed by the Calore river, while to the south the Caudina Valley separates it from the Partenio mountains.
TELESE TERME:
The waters of Telese Terme have an ancient tradition. The sulfur springs appeared after the earthquake of 1349 which caused the outflow of mineral waters. Their fame soon spread, having proved to be very useful for the treatment of diseases of the skin, digestive system, respiratory system and rheumatism. The Telese water is rich in natural effervescent mineral salts, sulphurous, bicarbonate, calcium, magnesium.
IL MAGNIFICO BORGO DI SANT'AGATA DEI GOTI:
A town perched on a tuff spur, with a long history and interesting traditions behind it. The medieval village is a tuff terrace suspended in time and surrounded by nature. Amidst destruction and occupation it has been able to resist various vicissitudes. The old village of Saticula first occupied by the Romans, after the Samnites, and finally by the Lombards.
It was the Romans who encamped the fortress, first with some veteran soldiers, and then with a colony of the Empire commissioned by Octavian Augustus.
